Mission & Vision

Our chapter works to provide information to our members and the community in general about farm issues and education about best practices.  To that end, we work with 4-H and FFA members and support them through donations for various activities.  We also work with the other chapters to promote and move ag policy in the state legislature and at our local borough and cities as needed.  Our program/education committee coordinates the speakers at our monthly meetings to bring in knowledgable speakers who present about timely topics of interest to our members.  Topics this year have included irrigation, marketing, carbon farming, Certified Naturally Grown program, and FSA programs/funding.  We also encourage community members to attend our meetings.  We support the Fair with a booth and donation, as well, and use that opportunity for outreach to the community.
