Alaska Peony Varieties
About Alaska Peonies
Alaska’s long cool growing seasons and soil help us produce large buds and vibrant colors so desired in the marketplace. The peonies grown here bloom when there are generally fewer other peonies available to the market. Our bloom period of late June through August and into September makes it possible to supply these highly desirable flowers to markets when there is generally less direct competition, providing potential for an expanding agricultural export industry in the state.
